Happy Easter
March 23, 2008 by Melynn

My eldest daughter at age 4 in a hat and dress her Aunt Elizabeth made for her. She’s sixteen now and far beyond hunting for Easter eggs. Thank goodness for photographs that can take us back in time and help us remember those wonderful days when my children were young. (Sigh)

She is adorable!
Children certainly do grow up fast and I find it more difficult to relate to them for some reason. Even in college my kids seem to be on another thought pattern than me. It was nice when they trusted me fully and their dreams were full of unbridled promise. I loved hunting for Easter eggs as a child. It is kind of like opening a new kiln, discovering beautiful hidden wonders.
That photo is so sweet, her expression so dear. Mine still all hunted this year and I took lots of photos. I can sense the oldest getting ready to pull out and wanting to hide the eggs instead. (sigh) kt
So cute, I miss my little ones too
