I’ve been tagged this morning by one of my favorite bloggers, bookbabie, who just started a 6 word memoir meme fashioned after Not Quite What I was Expecting: Six Word Memoirs by Famous and Obscure Writers by Larry Smith and Rachel Fershleiser. If you’re thinking what I usually find myself thinking, “oh no, not another tagging game”, please reconsider playing this one. After all, it consists of only 6 words and an illustration if you’d like (how easy is that?). Plus, you’ll get to be in on the ground level and help bookbabie get her game off the ground. So, if you’re up for it, here are the rules:
1. Write a six word memoir
2. Post it on your blog and include a visual illustration if you’d like
3. Link to the person that tagged you in your post and to the original post if possible so the meme can be tracked as it travels across the blogosphere
4. Tag five more blogs with links
5. Leave a comment on the tagged blogs with an invitation to play.
Here goes mine:

A work in progress, be patient.
I tag Richard at The Sacred Path, Katy at kt40artwork, Suz at Sperlygirl, Frank at “I of my own knowledge”, and Peg at Ivy Arts.

Great memoir and love the painting too, thanks for playing. I’m not always up for memes myself but I kind a liked this idea:)
I loved your 6 word memoir! Love the bird nest, too.

you’re 6liner is great – it’s like a mantra.
Beautiful image and great memoir
Your words and painting are filled with hope… As Vincent Van Gogh once said “So let us go forward, quietly, each on his own path, forever making for the light.”
Well done.
Have you seen that Worcester is doing StART in the Park on June 1st?

I’m going to apply, and hope to see you there.

Hi Jaye, yes, I got an email about the show in June – can’t do it tho cuz I have a 2 day show right beforehand. But I’m still hoping to get into the one in September. Hope to see you then!
Melynn, I haven’t yet put up my meme, but I will try to get to it today. I like yours, “a work in progress, but patient.” I could change the last word and it would be me.
Cool, I’m looking forward to the June show. I’ll let you know how it goes for me. I’ve been hit or miss with first-year shows, and kind of wanted to stay away from them for a while, but since this is kind of married to the Septemebr one, I figure its worth a try.

I’m working on mine, Melynn. There’s a picture I want to go with it, but I have to scan it. Love your words.
Hi Peg, look forward to seeing what you come up with. BTW, I love your blog – you are doing such great work!
