This is my very first blog entry. I’ll be back soon once I figure out the ins and outs of the blogging world, to state my opinions and life experience having to do with art, health and spirituality. Mind, body and spirit, I suppose, could also be labeled as the three areas of study I’ve delved head over heels into over the past 10 years when I first began my journey to heal from Interstitial Cystitis (IC), a painful bladder syndrome that affects more than 1 million people, mainly women, in the US alone. Anyone who has IC or any chronic illness for that matter, knows how long and difficult the path to wellness can be. My intention is to shed a positive light on an otherwise devastating condition and to offer hope of recovery to anyone who is willing to look beyond the surface of things and understand the alchemy of certain events in our lives. Those events often bring about a new awareness and a change of consciousness of what it means to be a spiritual being living in a physical world.

Thought for the Week
When you have come to the edge of all the light you know, and are about to step off into the darkness of the unknown, Faith is knowing that one of two things will happen: There will either be something solid to stand on or you will be taught how to fly. – AnonymousVisit My Website

I’m very curious to hear more. This could be an interesting connection to a big part of the human race that otherwise wouldn’t be known to us!
I believe there is a very strong connection between mind, body & spirit. I am looking forward to finding out more about your experiences.
Congrats Melynn on your new blog site! I’m honored to make your links! Fred
Keep welcoming the world with your beautiful spirit! It is angelic!
Walter
I agree with Walter….Melynn is definitely doing angels work! Her writing allows us to connect with her very big heart as she shares what she has learned in such a caring and generous manner. Always giving…that’s Melynn!!

Congratulations on starting a blog. In the four years that I have known you, I have concluded that you are one of the most multitalented people I know. Art, design, ceramics — and now virtual networking. I’ve got your site bookmarked.
Melynn,
Congrats on this new undertaking, as though you don’t keep yourself busy enough…It’s very thoughtful and informative, about so many topics. I can’t imagine what’ll be next in your evolving and energetic search of truth, love, art, and life…
Melynn,
